Obedience Training Lessons For Dogs

❶ Obedience training involves teaching a dog to perform certain behaviors at a given signal from the handler.

❷ These behaviors may be as simple as sitting at the owner’s side or as complex as retrieving a selected object after dealing with a series of obstacles or barriers.

개의 복종 훈련 

❶ 복종 훈련은 조련사가 주는 신호에 따라 개가 특정한 행동을 하도록 가르치는 것을 포함한다.

❷ 이러한 행동은 주인의 옆에 앉는 것처럼 간단하거나, 일련의 방해물 혹은 장애물을 처리한 후에 선택된 물건을 가져오는 것처럼 복잡할 수도 있다.

❸ 신호는 언어적이거나, 비언어적이거나, 혹은 그 둘의 조합일 수도 있다.

❹ 초보적인 복종 지시는, 개가 언어적 명령과 그에 동반되는 수신호에 응답하도록 가르치는 것을 포함한다.

❺ 나중에, 개가 배워감에 따라 음성 언어는 제거될 수 있다.

❻ 일부 조련사들은 동물을 아주 전문적으로 훈련시켰기 때문에, 그 개는 가장 사소한 비언어적 신호, 한 차례의 눈동자 굴림, 혹은 손가락을 살짝 구부림에 반응한다.

❼ 이러한 신호들은 보고 있는 사람들에게 감지될 수 없겠지만, 온전한 주의가 주인에게 집중되어 있는 훈련된 개는 쉽게 알아차릴 수 있다.
