❶ Personal blind spots are areas that are visible to others but not to you.

❷ The developmental challenge of blind spots is that you don’t know what you don’t know.

❸ Like that area in the side mirror of your car where you can’t see that truck in the lane next to you, personal blind spots can easily be overlooked because you are completely unaware of their presence.

❹ They can be equally dangerous as well.

❺ That truck you don’t see?

❻ It’s really there!

❼ So are your blind spots.

❽ Just because you don’t see them, doesn’t mean they can’t run you over.

❾ This is where you need to enlist the help of others.

❿ You have to develop a crew of special people, people who are willing to hold up that mirror, who not only know you well enough to see that truck, but who also care enough about you to let you know that it’s there.

 

 

 

 

 

 

# 자신의 맹점을 인지하도록 도와줄 수 있는 사람이 필요하다.     

 

❶ 개인의 맹점은 다른 사람들에게는 보이지만 당신에게는 보이지 않는 부분이다.

❷ 맹점이 지닌 발달상의 어려움은 당신이 무엇을 모르는지 모른다는 것이다.

❸ 옆 차선의 트럭을 볼 수 없는 당신 차의 사이드미러 속의 부분과 같이, 개인의 맹점은 당신이 그것의 존재를 완전히 인지하지 못하기 때문에 쉽게 간과될 수 있다.

❹ 그것들은 마찬가지로 똑같이 위험할 수 있다.

❺ 당신이 보지 못하는 그 트럭?

❻ 그것은 정말 거기에 있다!

❼ 그리고 당신의 맹점도 그러하다.

❽ 당신이 그것을 볼 수 없다고 해서 그것이 당신을 칠 수 없음을 의미하는 것은 아니다.

❾ 이 부분이 당신이 다른 사람의 도움을 구해야 할 부분이다.

❿ 당신은 기꺼이 그 거울을 들고, 그 트럭을 볼 수 있을 정도로 충분히 당신을 잘 알 뿐만 아니라 또한 트럭이 거기에 있다는 것을 당신에게 알려 줄 만큼 충분히 당신을 아끼는 이런 특별한 동료들을 만들어야 한다.
