1.    Besides our archaeology work, we visited a local elementary school once a week.

2.   We taught and played with the children in the morning and we read to the children from books in the library in the afternoon.

3.  Although they didn't have much, the children were happy and thankful for what they had. That moved me deeply. 

 

4.  Near the end of our visit, having completed our volunteer work, we went by train to the nearby ruins of Machu Picchu.

5.  The ancient sky city welcomed us with its grand view of the Urubamba Valley far below.

6.  We could not imagine how the Inca could have built such a large city on top of a high mountain.

7.  We were amazed by the outstanding building skills of the Inca civilization, which prospered more than five centuries ago. 

8.  After my unforgettable days in Peru, I returned to my daily life at home.

9.  The happy moments I spent there went by so fast. I wished I could have stayed longer.

10.  Participation in the Inca Project was a blessing to me, allowing me to learn the importance of volunteering.

11.   I received far more than I gave from the experience.

 

 

 

 

 

[ 봉사 활동 ]

1.   고고학 작업 외에도, 우리는 일주일에 한 번씩 지역 초등학교를 방문했습니다.

2.  오전에는 아이들과 놀고 가르쳤으며, 오후에는 도서관에서 책을 읽어주었습니다.

3.  아이들은 가진 것이 많지 않았지만, 자신들이 가진 것에 대해 감사하고 행복해했습니다. 이 점은 나에게 깊은 감동을 주었습니다.

 

[ 마추픽추 방문 ]

4.  봉사 활동을 마친 후, 우리는 기차를 타고 마추픽추 유적지를 방문했습니다.

5.  고대 하늘의 도시는 우리를 아래로 펼쳐진 우루밤바 계곡의 웅장한 전망으로 맞이했습니다.

6.  우리는 잉카인들이 어떻게 높은 산 꼭대기에 이렇게 큰 도시를 건설할 수 있었는지 상상할 수 없었습니다.

7.  500년 넘게 번영했던 잉카 문명의 뛰어난 건축 기술에 감탄했습니다.

8.  페루에서의 잊을 수 없는 날들이 지나고, 나는 일상으로 돌아왔습니다.

9.  그곳에서 보낸 행복한 순간들은 너무 빨리 지나갔습니다. 더 오래 머물고 싶었습니다.

10.  잉카 프로젝트에 참여한 것은 내게 축복이었고, 봉사의 중요성을 깨닫게 해주었습니다.

11.  나는 내가 준 것보다 훨씬 더 많은 것을 이 경험에서 얻었습니다.
