# ‘누군가 지켜보고 있다’는 미묘한 심리에 민감하다는 연구결과

 

❶ 사람들이 커피 값을 기부하는 양심 상자 가까이에, 영국 뉴캐슬 대학교의 연구자들은,  눈 이미지와 꽃 이미지를 번갈아가며 전시했다.
❷ 각 이미지는 일주일 동안씩 놓여 있었다.
❸ 눈 이미지가 전시된 주에는 꽃 이미지가 전시된 주보다 더 많은 금액이 기부되었다.
❹ 10주간의 연구 기간 동안,  ‘눈 이미지 주간’의 기부액은 ‘꽃 이미지 주간’의 거의 세 배에 달했다.
❺ 이 실험은 ‘진전된 협력 심리가 누군가가 지켜보고 있다는 미묘한 신호에 아주 민감하다,’는 것과 이 연구 결과가 사회적으로 이익이 되는 성과를 내게끔 어떻게 효과적으로 넌지시 권할 것인가를 암시한다고 말했다.
